When the GZ250 first came out I measured the fender and the forks are wider than the savage, fender would have to be cutdown themiddle, rewelded and reworked to fit, would be nice but expensive, 1st to buy and then to modify.. For those who have access to a J&P catalog or dealer the aftermarket flip up tail front fender for a HD FXT/FXTC, Dyna Wide Glide or 4 sp. FXWG fits nicely between the forks and modifies easily in the installation area. If you can find a shop that deals with and knows HDs and isn't anti metric there may be more options. All I did was take the between forks measurement and found an equivalent distance in a HD model and then started looking at fenders to fit those in the catalogs. He had 3 or 4 options for me to look at and some suggestions on those he had good experiences with shipping tin. He had not had good luck with the quality and/or shipping damages of the plastic or glass fenders to Anchorage AK, but that may have been location rather than a dealer problem. I have submitted an article withs pictures to FSSNOC (Four Stroke Singles National Owners Club) and will send a picture snail mail to someone who can post it here. Contact me direct if you can help, I have no access to a digital camera or scanner to get the picture into my computer. Max
